Land Rover Defender 130 Dubbelhytt - Fully restored

This exceptionally fine Land Rover Defender 130 double cab was sold new in Germany 2010 but imported to Sweden almost immediately. Equipped with highlights such as a snorkel, and much more. In 2023 to 2024, the car underwent a major restoration, with invoices documenting over 550, 000 SEK). The restoration included a complete mechanical and drivetrain overhaul with new fluids, and bearings. The braking system was renewed with new discs, and tensioners were also replaced. The turbo system and fuel lines, and regulators were serviced, and adjustments were made to doors, and window mechanisms. Extensive bodywork was carried out, powder-coating of parts such as the roof rack and grille, repair of rusted bolts and brackets, straightening of misaligned panels, and reinforcement of hinges and supports. The chassis number was also adjusted for inspection visibility. On the exterior, a new windscreen with trim was installed, along with powder-coated handles and roof rack. Mirrors, and wipers were replaced or adjusted, mudflaps and fasteners were renewed, and motors were refurbished. The electrical system was refreshed with new relays, replacing corroded cabling throughout. The suspension received new torsion bars, and tyre adjustments performed. A set of five used 16” wheels was also fitted. Interior work included repairs to locks and latches, reinstallation of the instrument panel, and adjustments to fittings and storage components.
